Samsung G600 Silver is Samsung's Second 5 Megapixel Addition

Samsung have been one of the pioneers of mobile phone personlisation by releasing popular models in new colour schemes to attract more individual mobile phone users.

This was first seen in any great numbers with the Samsung U600, the handset first launched into the market sporting Basic black casing, within weeks the company had released a Blue version and now their are 7 colours available including Silver, Gold, White, Red and Pink.

Each colour attracts a different user with some targeting more generally at male and female consumers, the model seeing huge growth presently is without doubt the pink version that appeals to affluent, fashion conscious women.

Samsung have more recently released their 5 megapixel model, the Samsung G600, in a matt black casing that gives the phone an air of worth and masculinity. The G600 offers the manufacturers highest specification mobile photographic technology with one of the highest resolutions for video recording ever seen in a mobile device.

The new addition to the 5 megapixel family is the new Samsung G600 Silver Edition, this new model offers exactly the same specifications and features as the Black phone but comes housed in a Silver exterior that gives the impression of expense and sophistication.

The 5 megapixel camera comes equipped with a flash for poor lighting condition photography, digital zoom for objects at distance and autofocus for quick and easy, quality pictures.

Other features include an MP3 player which the user can use to playback individual music tracks or complete albums either uploaded from a PC via a USB cable or downloaded from the internet direct to the phone. There is an FM Radio which will tune to local and national stations and Bluetooth stereo A2DP support for wireless connections to compatible headsets for listening to music tracks, radio or calls in stereo. Bluetooth also enables printing direct from the handset to compatible printers so users can send their pictures wirelessly and print out on the spot.

Users can also share their music files wirelssly via Bluetooth with compatible phones as well as with friends through the built-in handsfree function.

Considering the amount of technology within the phone it surprising to find that the G600 is only 14mm in depth, when compared with other 5 megapixel camera phones on the market this is extremely slim.

Externally, the handset features a large 2.2 inch colour screen display which is ideal for viewing the high quality pictures and video clips, there is also a multi directional scroll wheel situated directly below the screen for easy menu navigation and options selection.

To cope with the large amount of files a phone with this many features generates, the manufacturer has incorporated an expandable memory which will facilitate MicroSD cards up to an impressive 2GB, plenty of storage space for music, video, photos and applications.

Overall the new Samsung G600 Silver Edition is a sleek and sophisticated phone offering the very best of what Samsung have been working on in their research and development departments for some time, high-end technology squeezed into a practical and functional, slim and attractive device.
